Our love story is not the typical one, it started 15 years ago with a hectic day at work and Juan saved a piece of carrot cake for Erliz to try. Little did he know she loved dessert. Since then our relationship has grown one dessert at a time. Juan popped the question in 2019 during a birthday celebration for Erliz surrounded by his family in Medellin, Colombia. 
    Fast forward to countless trips, living separately, growing as a blended family, and now together with two dogs and a son. Our story has been one heck of a ride that has taught us many lessons in life and made us stronger. We have embraced each other’s family as our own and brought us closer together. The balance and harmony of our story has strengthened our bond and brought us to this moment in life. 
   We decided on a destination wedding because we love the memories we create when we travel. We wanted to share an unforgettable memory with our closest friends and family. We chose Medellin, Colombia because we want to celebrate our love in a location that is special to us with natural beauty and breathtaking views.
